I just want to share photo from my walking route, we have still 2-3 proper winter months left, so there will be much more snow coming.
I upload more pictures february and march when we hopefully see sun again.

I was just about to say that looks like a Swedish rally stage - then I noticed your flag! :)

Still driving the Zed or is it off the road for the winter?

Yep, for those of us that don't have to cope with it daily - that looks beautiful

:driving:

Yup, I can imagine it gets a bit wearing after a couple of months... Though the OP wants it to be colder :o

Yep. i think your winter looks quite different in UK. I was once in Edinburgh when they called it "extreme weather".. some years ago. Almost all roads were closed and airport inoperatible because of snow. For us it was just another winter day... :P

Picture looks beautiful. Would love to be going for a walk in that today

We are just not used to snow in the UK. Bet all the Canadian ice hockey players couldn't believe the chaos in Sheffield the other day when we had a couple of inches of snow just as the game ended and the roads got blocked for hours

It has been raining all day and outside temp atm is +4 :D
We've had two days below -15 this winter. Mostly around 0.

Snow depth here is about 5-6 cm.

I saw yesterday a Z4 with hardtop. Mine is in garage till march-april.

Pictures look amazing!

i went to St Petersburg a few years ago in febuary. Snow was up to your armpits and it was between -20 & -30 every day but the people just drive around and get on with life as normal. playing football on a frozen river was a new experience though.

Then the flight home was delayed by half a day because of 2cm snow in London :headbang:

it's a different kind of cold there, i'm sure i've felt colder in the UK before in temperatures no where near as low. I guess you dress for it and prepare yourself.

I would say that october and november are lot worse than january, it feels much colder because it rains all the time. Also we basically dont see sun at all and it is dark 19 hours a day.

Now it is dry and cold, it just matter how well you are prepared. We have good heating / insulation houses, electric car pre-heaters (engine / interior). I normally wear arctic clothes even i go with car if car fails and you have to walk you must survive. Think like that and you will be okay in extreme cold tempeatures. Yesterday i even drove bicycle, it was not so bad .. just put enough warm clothes on.

-20 or -25 celsius are totally normal in Finland and all people are used to. When we have -35celsius then it might be in the news.. 8)

I took some photos what weather is now.. we have less snow than usual in february.
