If they are BMW bolts you can get a replacement for £10. But hope you find them. I do that kind of stuff all the time!!

It's not cold enough down here right now, and I am not out early enough at the moment, to need mine back on quite yet. Though my hand may soon be forced by a significant lack of tread on my rears :D

Only had 1 cold start yesterday 2 degrees with frost... But i'm sure the ground temp was warmer. No chance of winters quite yet.

That's the thing, the nights haven't been that cold yet, and the days are still 13/14 degrees. A couple of weeks of cold nights and the ground temperature will drop below the air temp - so even if it's showing 10 degrees on the dash, the road will be much colder.

The weather is weird down south at the moment - it's November tomorrow, but the temperature is still in the teens... Perhaps the weather will drop off a cliff and we'll have 6 feet of snow in a few weeks

Put mine on today whilst I was changing the oil. But then I'm going away on Saturday for 4 weeks so won't be driving the car again until December.

Winter wheels on today. Gave everything a good clean and degrease whilst the wheels were off - makes me feel better about the fugly stick I just hit my car with, saddling her with Daisies overdue a good refurb for the next 5 months

Winters still in the garage... U sure what's coming our way is really that scary?

daisies are okay, they just ain't 'dressy'.

Yeah, I don't mind them - they're just a bit tatty now, which slaps my OCD about a bit.

Temps are dropping, ground temps will be lower... If you want scary you should have a look at the tread depth on my summer rears - got 5 or 6 mil on my winters, which is a LOT more than the ones I took off. That said, they were a bit squirmy today - maybe cos I had washed all the rubber a few weeks ago

Best remember to tell Direct Line too.

Winters are on mine too.

Have to say the MV1's are looking rather nice. Bit of a change from ellipsoids

Had my car 3 years now, and no real need in London.....think we've had snow on 2-3 days and still the car was fine.....so not sure if anyone else in London goes for winter tyres or not

Got back from NY this morning, wanting to beat the jetlag decided to stay awake and clean the car and fit my winters, and clear my softop drains... Went from this (didnt clean the summer wheels here!)
