Still not cold enough here yet really... Probably means we'll get 4 feet of snow in December as the Mayan prophecy kicks in :D

It's not the snow you need to worry about Bing, it's the moon sized meteor hurtling towards us at million miles an hour that's going to pulp us into extinction

Ice age first though - a meteor would be too kind on us

Not fitted mine yet as the temps have been up and down here a bit, certainly been cold enough when I've been driving to/from work though. Prediction is for much colder in next week or so, so I really should get on to it.

Falken HS439s in 225/40/18 and 255/35/18 for me on the e90, Kumho KW23s on Mrs a11y's Fabia in 205/45/16, and Nankang SV-2s in 215/65/16 on the campervan

Just had my winter wheels fitted today- Yoko W-drive. Was slipping all over the place earlier before they got fitted!

Been mightely impressed with the Vredestein all seasons on the Z3 and bonus I can leave them on :) I was really doubting these tyres would work 100% in the snow but have been fantastic with no probs and just as good in the dry and warm when I tested last Sept. Pleased I didn't go for full winters now :)

Tim.

Just had my summer wheels refitted...now to decide whether to refurb my winter M wheels and use them for summer instead of the MV2s...

winny, tough choice... But I think MV2s look better on a coupe, so I would refurb the ///M wheels and use the, for summer... Probably need two new sets of tyres though as they are different width wheels right ?

For some reason the MV2s aren't staggered and have 225 width tyres all round. The 2 front tyres are shite Sunnys so will ditch them and put the 2 rear p zeros on front of the M wheels and buy 2 new 255 width p zeros for the rear. The winters are 225 all round as well so I guess it works out quite nicely really.
Does that make any sense at all? :/
