I did consider this, but then wondered if they are heated etc?
I can't say I've ever noticed as the Z stays still when its icy, are they auto or is there a button?

Replacement glass from eBay is fine. It's the panel you stick the glass onto that's heated. So cheap replacements do the trick![]()

Lillywhite said:B****y hell. The same thing happened to me this morning. The glass hit the the floor and broke the corner off. :x I've temporary fixed it back with double-sided sticking tape. Need to get a replacement so will try eBay. I put it down to the cold weather.

This does seem to be the case, but the WDS claims they switch off above 25C, below that, they switch off and on in proportion to temperature until -10C when they are on continuously.srhutch said:They are on all the time, you can feel the heat if you put your hand on them.

I could swear mine have been on well above 25 though, but it's not like I'm in the habit of feeling up my mirrors. :?
