To me they both do the same job , but the bmw one looks better, the flexi one needed straps round the roll over bars and was not as tidy. In fact I think it is still lying in my garage but I don't think I have the straps for it. Happy to send it to you if you want or I can take a picture of it to show you.
paulgs1000 said:Hi I bought a Perspex wind deflector for my E85 for £115 from Just Roadsters - after a year there were problems with the plastic straps that held it on but I have to say that the company were excellent at sorting the issue and I now have textile straps which are far more durable and have stopped all problems.
I've also bought a half cover for my Zed (£50) which I use quite often as the car stays at the front of the house and I'm hoping it might help with the issue of water ingress into the hood motor - we shall see.
My Perspex wind deflector doesn't cause restrictions with rear view and is a great deal cheaper than the OEM item - not certain if they do an E89 version though - worth a check perhaps.

£215 if ordered as original spec, or £1375 as part of the ridiculously overpriced "comfort package"!

It was so filthy! Had to steam clean it before putting it back on!
