I thought genuine parts carried a 2yr warranty, so it's a like for like replacement unless they try and tell you the indie screwed up fitting it (and if you do that it's back to the indie for a stern word)

You are right mate i have been told in the past they are covered for two years.

So bollox to their price rise. Are they trying to make you feel guilty? "Oh woe is me, these are more expensive now, how will I feed my kids if I replace them under warranty even though BMW will pay for them and recoup their money from their supplier"

A bit peed off tbh,when i contacted them on Saturday morn after going to the indy and having an emission test that proved faultless-they said to me-"Well if you are prepared to drive the car around in that condition when we have told you its the cat,thats up to you"-sounded a bit like scarmongering to me
