This evening was the one. That perfect combination of cool air feeding the radiator, bone dry salt free roads and the most perfect sunset you could ever wish to drive into, after a jog across the moors. The moon shining like a dimpled spotlight one side, the gently ebbing glow of dusk fading into ever more star lit twilight on the other. For fifteen miles through the deserted back lanes of Cornwall I just lade back and enjoyed the view.
