Trickle charging Lion batteries during SORN

Hi folks, I'm hoping someone can advise me here. I'm Sorning my E85 Z4 for winter and it has a Lion Li-ion battery. I have a battery charger that has a Lithium mode but is says the battery should have a battery management system for safe use. I've not use Lithium batteries before. It has sat for over a month and the car started 1st time with no problem. But if I do that and don't drive anywhere it will obviously deplete the battery. So is it safe or sensible to use my Noco Genius charger (with Li-ion) mode for my 3.0l Z4. I have little experience of Lithium batteries and the last think I want is to kill the seemingly good battery or worse, set fire to the garage!
Any advice welcome. I can't seem to find any advice on Lion Batteries web site that says it is safe to use a trickle charger wi Li mode. I'm also wondering if any of you have any tips for a 4 month SORN on a Z4 as I have run mine through the last 2 winters. I can move it and drive it up/down a bit as have space to use gearbox and rotate tyres etc.
Regards, Paul

I think you will find that it’s the brand name of the battery as in Lion…unless you are very rich / clever / technologically advanced it will be a normal lead acid flooded cell battery and should be charged by a normal battery charger…

Maybe you could clarify / confirm that pls?

Interesting point if you do have Lithium Iron Phosphate battery. According to this article, whereas Lead Acid should stored at 100% charged and set up on a float charge maintainer, LiOn are best left at 50% to maintain electron balance between the + & - posts. They discharge very slowly so should only need minimal recharging to that level. Apparently prices for LiOn are falling so it's one to watch.

Thanks for the responses. I didn't have my glasses on. Yep, it isn't a Li-Ion battery but a Lion brand battery and reading the symbols it almost certainly is a traditional lead-acid battery. That is the simple problem sorted for SORN. Hadn't hear of Lion brand before but they seem widely available in Euro Car Parts etc.

You must thought you had a bargain

I fitted a Lion from Eurocarparts about 3 years ago, it seems fine used with a Ctek on SORN for three months.

Should be ok on a battery maintainer, I currently have my Z3 on SORN and plugged in to a maintainer, car gets moved when I want to use the car lift its parked on so tyres do get a turn, if it was going to be static for a long time I would consider lifting the car on the lift so the wheels are off the ground to prevent flat spotting.
