Check page two of my thread: https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=117673&start=15

It can show a multitude of information such as oil and coolant temp turbo boost pressure (for turbo cars) fuel trims voltage etc. plus it can show you performance and braking data too. It has audible alarm if the coolant goes over a set value etc. I bought it from Alibaba as a commercial sample, the first one they sent the speedo reading was in white but when the speed reached 100KPH to turn to yellow and then red once over 130KPH, I didn't like that so they made me another sample where the speed reading stays white no matter what the speed.

This one is a gauge but you can also get a version which will project to the windscreen but I didn't go for that one because it means you have to attached a small piece of plastic transparent film to the windscreen in order to view the display properly. You can see virtually the same item I got in this Amazon link:

My r1200gs had a separate fuel pump controller which had a bad reputation in the early days, people used to bypass them & run the pump flat out with no apparent ill effects, has your bike got something similar?
Rob
It has a starter circuit relay that incorporates the fuel pump relay. All the wiring checks out ok and I have tried another relay which does the same.
The big issue I think is the fact the diagnostics will not fully test, to me it all points to the ECU.
Unfortunately after scouring the net there doesnt seem to be any others out there with the same problem.

A multimeter. Trying and failing to get my bike going. I think the ECU is knackered. :(
I spent weeks and replaced loads of stuff on my ZZR1200.
First thing i bought was a new ignition barrel as the old one seemed intermittent.
Then coils, pick, leads, caps, 2nd hand ignition module, still no joy.
Then i remembered seeing a resistor on the old barrel. The new one was missing this resistor.
Rechecked a wiring diagram and didn't show resistor, but there was a odd grey wire.
Turns out that resistor is connected to the grey wire. So transplanted the resistor.
Hey presto the bike started, it was security thing supply 6 volts to the ignition module.
So be careful buying aftermarket parts off the internet.
Had me going in circles for weeks.
( I even ripped out the Datatool alarm, thinking it was that. What a waste).

1 ctek charger
2 front black oem grills
3 royal steering wheel refurbish
4 LED halo’s
5 LED interior bulbs
6 lubricated convertible top

A great and welcome distraction while we are all home.

Nice.
Photos would be good.

I finally ordered a stubby. Didnt fit, so had to send it back to Amazon. I would be grateful if anyone could recommend one that ACTUALLY fits. I swear I am going to do myself a mischief on the stock flexi aerial.
And how you fitted them and what you got.

Where did you buy the LED halo bulbs, and what power wattage?
I was looking at the 80W bulbs. Most sellers advertise as 160W (2 x 80W bulbs).
What worked on yours? Any photos?

Regarding the stubby I fitted the original BMW one, fits and performs perfectly. Not too expensive from what I recall.

oh my goodness, it costed over 1,000 quid iirc. a normal Nakamichi costed from 4xx quid. the best cassette decks in the world. no competitor at all within the same price range. only one could challenged - Sony Walkman Pro D6C

I wouldn't put the D6C and Dragon in the same ballpark tbh.
But the D6C does play nicely with it's siblings.
