Lol lovin the banter. One of pawnsacrifices quotes from the weekend as we were lined up waiting on the return ferry a young couple was walking down the line of z's when they got to guieseleyesise coupe Pawn said "they will be pleased to see that BMW make a mobility version. :lol:

I'm hoping to get onto sorting out my photos tonight. And hopefully have a proper look through other folk's ones too - too many are being blocked by my work filter (tried to download Firefox as it's more "open" than IE, but they've bloody well blocked that too...).

Back this morning very, very early... we were supposed to take the 18h40 ferry from Dover to Calais, but had "some" delays. We arrived early at the ferry terminal, around 16h00, and we were re-scheduled on the 14h55 ferry... which was supposed to take off at 18h0... but which arrived in Dover at 19h30... and managed to dock at 21h00 (the side propeller thingy was apparently out...).
Have you ever seen a ferry missing it's docking manoeuvre ? well, now i have !
Believe me, it sounds more exciting than it really is...
So, on to the ferry at 21h30, arrived in Calais at midnight french time and i was in my bed at 3 in the morning. Wake up this morning was difficult. :x
So, to quote a famous Z4 owner : Dover ? seriously ?
Beside this, i wish to thank all of you for your kindness and warm welcome. We really had a good time with you all, i really don't regret a minute making the trip all the way up to Islay. Beautiful landscapes, greatest whiskies in the world, good friends, what could you possibly ask for more ?
Ho, by the way, Blackpool.... well, yeah, seriously !
