Now that's a good idea. I take it from the pics that you jack up the car then fit these somehow so the jack can go back down, leaving the stands in place? I use this its extremely good and very very useful. A bit pricey but you only have to buy it once.

The top of the stand is separate and sits on top of the jack located in the lifting point of the car . When the car is at the height of the main part of the stand you fit the stand around the jack and then as you lower the jack the top piece locates in the stand and you can remove the jack.

But again I'm not interested in people opinions of what I should get. I'm interested in if the bottom of the car being 16" rather than 14" off the ground is useful.
