I no im in the minority here, but I think there is a reason why there are so few Sepang coloured Zds because its nasty not because its individual just as bad as Phoenix yellow. Grim colours IMO.

Thank goodness we are not all alike, my first Zed was in Phoenix Yellow, and I can honestly say that the colour was fabulous and the amount of attention one got driving it was amazing, guys would stop, gawk and give my car lots of compliments. There are not many of them around, it was a £1,400 option and I'm not sure it was an option on a Z4M

Silver and grey cars are definitely more popular and a safer choice, however it is a reflection on ones personality.....I have exquisite taste and........ :silence:

matte black ;-)

Nice to see you upholding Z4MC honours!! :driving:

There isn't a massive jump in performance but the 997.1 GT3 will do around 4.2s to 60 and 9s to 100 so there is quite a reasonable jump. In the gears though the GT3 is quite highly geared so that might erode some of the difference. I look at it as the unofficial big brother to the Z4MC - NA, high revving 6 cylinder with manual gearbox and a niche model within a larger range

I do understand what you mean, I quite like them too (although I'd always want more as long as the GT2 existed!).

About 18 months ago I was on track with a GT3 and we were pretty matched. At the time I'd assumed I was driving more aggressively than was he as I had less to lose financially if it all went wrong. After a similar head-to-head on Saturday with a different guy in a different GT3, it's made me start to wonder...

Nasty is a bit strong !
YOU may not like it which is fine but it doesn't mean it's a bad colour.
Regardless of individual tastes I do think many buyers are swayed by what others think rather than having the balls to put their money into what they like.

Well as far as I'm concerned milu, you have one of the nicest colours available today on any car. The only possible exception is obsidian black, not because of the colour just the name, brings me out all.....well purr

Ok, dont have a ZM, but I got a Phoenix Yellow Z this year... I certainly couldnt drive around in a nondescript silver car, shows a lack of imagination IMO...

As I drove through the snow today the world seemed very monochrome with all the silver and black cars reflecting the mood of the day, my PY Zed, seemed like a little ray of sunshine in the gloom.

Reds good too.....

Or someone had pissed in the snow? NEVER EAT YELLOW SNOW!

It definitely takes some imagination to drive around in a car the same colour as a babies diaper!

(I'm just kidding before I get bitched at. Like I said everyone has there preferences and it wasn't a dig at anyone with cars that colour its just my opinion  )
