Jees it's been like 3 hours since I replied and it looks like world war 3 is on the cusp of kicking off lol!
Apple are great in the consumer space as people there are happy to pay more for what they see as value / style / coolness / functionality / ease of use whatever they see in the product. However when you look at the Enterprise space it's a completely different kettle of fish (for the majority I might add). Business look for compatibility first and foremost with user integration a close second. Everything works with a PC and EVERY single user has a PC at home therefore they can be productive at work without excessive assistance needing to be provided by IT. Until there is a shift in this "Market share" you are always going to see MS based PCs at work.
My hat goes off to Steve Jobs, very tidy empire he's built. He pretty much owns me
