I like the fact that the C110 is upgradeable, whereas the D900 is not and seems to have a new version out each year; but there seem to be few reviews or users of it around.

just beware ,im sure you know this already but i dont think D900 will work on Z4`s over a 2003

I didn't know, I thought that it was ok for my 2004. I definitely need to cancel then, thanks!

UPDATE: just had confirmation that the D900 order has been cancelled. Am I safe with the C110? ......getting nervous now!
 
check on that first mate,i relised this when i was going to get one for myself ,i contacted them and they said it would not work and the model they had that would work was a lot more money

well done phewww, i use software on my laptop easy to download and about £25
would you like me to give you the link,you send off for it and they send you the cable and disc through the post.

Not correct. The D900 OBD2 Code Reader (model 2011) works perfectly well on my 2006 Z4.

I can confirm that the C110 DOES reset the airbag light.

I cannot comment on the D900.

Does this sort out Airbag lights and allow the programming of keys etc?
 
Glad I found this thread. I'm after a diagnostic gizmo that can a) tell me what's up with my reversing sensors (intermittently a constant tone or fast beeping) & b) why my alarm keeps going off (not the usual suspects) - suspected tilt sensor).

I was thinking of the C110 scanner Creator C110 V1.1 BMW Code Reader for £40
or Creator C110 V3.1 Latest Version For BMW Code Reader for £59 until I came across this thread.

This seems to be a better option (& at £27 it's cheaper too!)

Should I get the C110 v1.1 or 3.1 or the BCable solution?
