I had the 1st 3 on the list my 1.9 205 was my favourite but would love a mk1 golf or a caddy gti nowadays.

For me it has to be the Intergrale such a good looking motor especially in the metallic blue

If it's the 16v Golf GTI mk2, then that. I had one from 2000-2005 and did 75k in it. Brilliant car, the feel and balance were superb.

The next Golf GTI that was any good was the mk5. I had two of these, and with a REVO stage 1 adjustable remap set at Aggressive boost, throttle and timing to give them the power they should have had when leaving Wolfsburg, these are a sublime drive. Another future classic. I'd have another in a heartbeat if I was allowed a third car!!!!

I've gone for the Cossie from the list but I would have voted for this had been listed :-D

When I was at college 20 odd years ago I was mates with the guys who run the Zagato Lancia garage in Marylebone. A lot of the cars were tuned to 350 bhp and the same in torque.I remember being 5 up in one whilst out with the lads, I'd little experience of cars at the time but it felt mightily fast and the grip was unbelievable. The tyres never made a sound, it was all traction. So it would have to be the Lancia for me

All too new for me. Has to be straight 6, front engine, rear wheel drive, manual gears, allround independent suspension, disks. So that means, if we talk UK cars:- Jag E type, Triumph TR6, GT6 or ?

Anyway they're all modern classics, this is a Classic :P :D :poke:

Beautiful car!! I learnt to drive in a 240Z on a mates farm when I was 14 in 1990, I really wish he'd kept that car. It needed restoring when he got it, and it eventually died of a broken chassis after far too much abuse from 2 14 year olds.

Is the car in the picture a 240 or 260? I can never tell the difference.

VW Corrado as long as its the VR6
I'm with you on that one
Me 3. Love that car, absolutely gorgeous - lusted after them in the late 80's/90's - but would be torn between a VR6 or a G60.

I had a Golf VR6 back in the day, really good engine. I seem to remember the Corrado's being a 2.9 and slightly more powerful than the Golf. Either way, great engine. A mate had a Corrado G60, it was really good, but so bad on fuel. Made my Golf seem economical.

Thanks

It's a 240Z, the only way to tell the difference from the outside is by looking at the rear light cluster, in a 240 the brake/indicator/reversing light is one unit, on a 260 the reversing light is separate, inside there are a few differences but mainly it's the dash and heater controls

No vote from me, they are all relatively boring sedans.

Give us some classic GT cars or sports cars!

It's like asking which moped you'd vote for.

My Williams was my first car. And is going to the 24h of Le Mans this year :) (already took the M last year!)
