Head says Corrado, heart says Integrale.... However it was to be a proper classic car, I'm strangely drawn to the 1970's Aston V8 - the type that George Lazenby drove in On Her Majesty's Secret Service - proper gentleman's express!

Don't see any classic cars on the list. Just a bunch of old hatch backs. Maybe a Clio Williams, if forced into one of the above.

Totally agree except with the Clio bit. Should be a vote for none of the above :poke:

Don't panic I didn't waste a vote on any of them.

Needs Skis.

I'm probably a bit too old for this as well.

But given that I had this from 1982 to 1984, followed by two Capri Injections I could only vote for the Escort Cosworth (just wish I could afford any of them now)! :o

I have no interest in classic cars at all other than to look at them. I would never want to own one.
With all the modern technology and comfort associated with newer cars I have no intention of taking a backwards step.
The only upside I could see is less electronics to go wrong so easier and cheaper to fix.

Renault 5gt was quick but still French
Peugeot 205 gti, 1.6 or 1.9? A mate had the 1.6 which felt quick although the speedometer was always bouncing! Again, French!
Lancia, well a mate of mine still has one, although it's not seen daylight for years, personally I think it's agoraphobic. Good looking car indeed, probably the best of the bunch.
As for the cosworth, that's the only car I've driven and I was surprised how quick it was as well as being easy to drive normally. Looks dated now.

205 GTI for me, had one back in the day 1.9 in Gunmetal Grey, F258ODF, bloody loved it, made out of tissue paper though, if you leant against it it would dint

Anyway they're all modern classics, this is a Classic :P :D :poke:

Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evo2!
Such a cool car. An old college of mine has one, a verde york edition with very cool interior.

I've owned a renault 5, and a pug 306 (2 actually). I think i'd be picking the 205 GTI, i have driven a few and was a nice thing to enjoy.

I have always had a desire to buy an old golf though, and rice it up a bit :D

Cossie for me, but I also think none are "classics" I had a Cossie for around 4 weeks back in the day, before it was stolen, never to be seen again :x

Back in 1997 I had a 205 Gti 1.9, loved that car, like a rocket on rails, but mine didn't have PAS, and was a bitch to park because of it! D616 YRN looks like it's rusted away.

Had a 5 Gt Turbo when I was 19, or was only 10 years old, but rotten as hell and liked to overheat.

Mike

Still miss my Uno Turbo 1990 so it'll have to be that. Christ that was fast.. in a straight line! In the bends the steering was just too slow for the likes of 205GTI. But it was probably the quickest 0-60 small hatch GTI's back then. And bulletproof engine!
