Has to be the Golf if you want to drive it. None of the others will be driveable or will have rusted away. :D

Lancia Delta. Only left hand drive I think and probably a nightmare to keep on the road, but what a car!

all too new to be classics in my book, but then I'm too old to be considered a classic by most!

sorry

Escort Cosworth by a country mile.

These are of an era now where my deerstalker and wellies are acceptable attire rather than the shell suit and backwards facing cap... :P

If I had to choose it'd be the Lancia Delta however I'm a big fan of the old fords (cortina, Capri etc). Other than that it's over the pond to things like Plymouth Barracuda's, GTO's etc, basically the muscle cars of that time.

Mate of mine had a Delta and I think it spent more time on the drive in pieces than it ever did driving. When it did work though it was looooovely.

Don't see any classic cars on the list. Just a bunch of old hatch backs. Maybe a Clio Williams, if forced into one of the above.

Yes, evo2, but tbh a hf16v would do equally well :)
Nb, just waiting for them to dust off the badge and do a retro resurreaction

I too would love a mk1 mini, or come to that an original fiat 500. My grandfather used to work at Jensen in west Bromwich on the Interceptor, it still looks amazing even now, although I wouldn't fancy paying to run it, don't think my pockets are deep enough. :?
