Stamfordham Classic & Sports Car Show Monday 26th August 2024. Venue is Stamfordham Cricket Club NE18 0QT on the B6309 in South Northumberland about 6.5 miles west of Newcastle airport.
 
Going there 1pm as well in my ex Lynchy e89 e23i now with 22000miles added in 2.5 years and still running sweet at 146,000mls.
 
If you want to exhibit a car you can go from 1000 Hrs. Show for the public is from 1300 ~ 1600 Hrs. Organisers like a donation to charity of £5 per vehicle. You can google Stamford Classic & Sports Car Show for more details. There is food and drink and other entertainment on site. Hopefully the weather will be kind. Will be good to see some of you there.
 
We Might have a (weather dependent) run out to this, it's a bit over 3 hrs for us on the motorway.

Had a great day at this little show, took the opportunity to go the 'long way' through Nidderdale and Swaledale, very nice drive. The weather was mostly good, although we had to an emergency 'hood up' during one downpour!
The show itself was interesting (I particularly enjoyed the fish and chips!) with some cool cars on show. It was great to meet @cherrym and @ZedFore in person, even if our conversation did get hijacked!

Looking forward to a drive up on the East of York next year!swaledale.jpg
 
Just read this today, shame I would have had a drive up as its only 30 mins up the road.

A good range of vehicles with good food and facilities including live music.

This Stamfordham car show is usually on the August bank holiday so should be 25th August next year for your diaries. There are some videos of the show on You Tube, search Stamfordham car show. See you next year.
