I hadn't realized it had gone  , but you are right DrNick

I didn't think it would take long to get.

I thought it collapsed in 1999 - could be wrong...

near to the home of the family where it was once thought safe to keep your money

BTW - apologies - I am about to head to london as have a hideous exam at the RCOA tomorrow, so not sure when I will next be able to log onto check your answers.... sorry!

I love that picture - It so reminds me of driving the D roads of Northern France in Summer (although obviously it's England).

Nah, cos of the arrows further down the road. And of course because there aren't any tree-lined, picturesque roads like that in Scotland, Ireland or Wales. Fact.

Correct Bing... UK road markings.
I'm also think that's a telecomm junction box, not a speed camera, but may be wrong.

Could be electricity, perhaps for charging Eco-converted 'urban green' Zs... However none of that gets us close to the answer. People used to think it was safe to keep your money in the bank...

Thanks BMWZ4MC,

Indeed it is England. Not sure what the green box is but it's not a speed camera (hopefully!!)

Bing, is doing well with the clue...

Now that really had better be it now till tomorrow evening - sorry!

But someone else will have to help with the cryptic clues.

ooops - well full marks there Guiseley! Kingston Lacey was home to the Banke family so bing was right on track...

Over to you then!

OK so I was slightly cheating (again) as I remembered that photo from before - it's a cracker btw.

Less beautiful image but scene of many an incident - too easy to give away any more clues.

Craner Curves, just after the right hander that is Hollywood that leads onto to them but before the Old Hairpin, with a view of the Schwantz Curve leading into Mcleans.

Or a bit more generic Donnington Park, Leicestershire under the flight path into East Midlands Airport.

Ah - the host of the legendary '93 European Grand Prix. The first lap was probably one of the best ever seen in F1 racing :)
