This spot will be passed in the months to come :driving: .

Up again heh - here's one that should be familiar to everyone between Hull and Liverpool.

Saddleworth moor just off M62, is it in the pub car park.

Yes and you can see the bizarre farm forever stuck in the central reservation in the background.

There's a water board car park right next to the dam - your turn :)

Cheers mate, and thanks for the clue.

That's the one where the tale is that he refused to sell his farm and they had to divert the motorway & go either side of his land.

Whereas due to the big slope in the land the engineers just decided to part the east and westbound carriageways rather and traverse the slope, his farm just happens to be in the middle!

Not at home now, so over to someone else.

Here's another one especially local for Taz then - got bored with my stubby so had this fitted - cyclists would have a good guess as to where?

This is a good idea, but I think most people don't have the patience of ranski to nanny the thread while everyone is making wild guesses. I suggest a DIY game where we can check our own guess against the slightly hidden right answer. Easy to cheat, and you only get one guess, but we should get more challenges submitted, as anyone can submit, not just the first winner.

I suggest that submissions place more emphasis on interesting photos of your Zed in interesting places, even if it is a well known location, rather than obscure, uninteresting but challenging locations. The idea being it would be fun to look at the pictures, even if you were not interested in playing along. Finally, we should restart this thread in the gallery section, just makes more sense.

How to hide the answer? I don't know how well this will work, but if we format the answer text with color=#EFEFEF, it should match the background of the post and be essentially invisible, as long as you are not overriding the site's CSS. To see the text, simply select it. This should work until the site restyles their background colour.

So here's my example challenge, mainly to see how my idea works, don't really expect anyone to recognise the location, but the pic is sort of interesting. See you in the Gallery Section.

Clue: The location describes the scene.

I think the thread stays here as 30 pages of posts in the few weeks since I put it up means it seems to be working for planty of the members

I do like the idea of nice locations in the photo's and happy for non winners to post if there is a lull in proceedings. Great idea.

No idea of how I'd cheat and see the answer even if I wanted to, but there are smarter folks than me around
