Excellent news that the key resync got it starting, just make sure all your keys now work then replace that duff alternator, you might get away with just replacing the regulator pack in the back of the alternator, it would be cheaper than a recon alternator, bit of a gamble but more than likely its the regulator gone duff.

To round it all out, yep Colb, checked both keys both good.

Alternator replaced, holy grail of 13.8 - 14V achieved.
