Wheeler Dealers-new series

i like wheeler dealers but why does he always use the open ended side of the spanner?

or is it just my imagination

Well that turned out absolutely lovely! Looked awesome dropped a little on those alloys. Old skool cool.

running away with me (probably)!

The more I watch this series the more I think it is all about spanners! They just seem to bodge stuff up so Mike can do a geezer sale - stick your hand out! I wouldn't want to buy anything they had ever touched!

Car SOS is much better, even if Tim (nice but dim?) tends to come over as an ar*ehole at times!

Yup, and don't get me started about when he uses a pozi driver on a phillips screw or vice versa.. Pet hates...

I haven't got the Discovery channel - I watch WD on Quest, guess I will have to wait until new series makes its way to Quest :(

On Quest this week they bought a black convertible M3 with a manual gearbox that the synchro had gone between 3rd and 4th - Ed had to take the gearbox out - took hours to get out using specialised equipment - then even Ed said he was unable to take the gearbox apart so they sourced a 2nd hand box from a breakers for £500 - also sourced and replaced all the leather interior - just reminded me how complicated and expensive BMW's can be when they go wrong :(

Have to say car looked good at the finish - they made £300 profit when they sold it - the reality is all the labour involved would have run in to virtually thousands :( still made good viewing.

Yeah, saw that one  Have you seen the TVR Cerbera episode? Ed has to remove the body shell from the chassis :o The chassis is riddled with rust and some struts are corroded so badly that they're only attached at one end. Has to be the biggest job Ed has taken on. Car looks amazing when completed.
