Well got a tax rebate so decided to refurb all 4 wheels. One has a hairline crack that loses air so will be getting welded, all four would benefit from painting. When I swapped from RFTs the bloke said the wheels were slightly buckled but they all still balanced and that was around two years ago with no adverse effects since. I have been quoted:
£65 for the crack a buckle is also £65 paint prices below.
We offer a factory refurbishment using powder coat or wet spray price options as follows -
Powder coat acid dip and blasted wheels only £220
Powder coat acid dip and blasted wheels with tires £240
Powder coat acid dip and blasted wheels with tires and balanced £300
Powder coat acid dip and blasted with wheels and vehicle left stored £330 you can drive your vehicle into us at Heckmondwike.
For wet spray is additional £40.00 for each service.
My question is it worth sorting the buckles if it balances and never presents a problem? Do these prices seem reasonable? If I were to all the wet paint, mild buckles, weld one wheel and leave over night it would be almost £700.
Cheers
