What's your mileage?

I compare quite badly to the rest of you...

mine is registered 04/2004 and i bought it in 07/2009. At the time the milage was 39k and now it's on 41300. so that's 2300 miles in 5 months!! Although this is my only car, I do also live in London, so most places are, at most, within 10-15 miles from me and I also get the train into work, so the car get's used about once or twice during the week and then the weekend.

2nd owner. First was BMW who put 1180 miles on prior to me purchasing in Oct 07, done 24k and every mile is a hoot in an M.

Mine WAS a DD at one time, but is more or less a weekend warrior now.

Just broke the 20k mark earlier this month.

Hopefully I'll have this car in the kingdom for many many years to come!

Picked up the car Christmas Eve and 23,000 miles now recorded. 57 plate. Likely to be doing 12,000 or so a year from here on in.

I've racked up just over 10k on mine in the last two and a bit months, bringing the car's total mileage to 62,500 miles
I fully expect to hit 100,000 before the end of summer with all the road trips i've already got planned :D

A bit earlier than expected, but I've just rolled round to 100,013 miles today, bringing me in at 37,513 miles covered in eight months. That's an average yearly mileage of 56k....
Good job I like to keep my cars until they no longer work :D

(mind you, I've been promoted at work so I dont have to go out all the time on silly-sized roadtrips from one end of the country to the other... nor am I planning to drive to southern spain and back again :P)

Had the Z from new and since registration in April 2007 I've knocked up 10500miles. Not alot for its age but it is a second car and I do spend quite alot of time away.

wow, impressed, thats less than me for age

55 plate - registered January'06 - currently 16500k miles (done 2.5k in the last year that I have had the car :) )

petrol is just so expensive these days :D

here's a semi-related question:
How often are you guys finding you need to change your rear tyres?

I ask, cos I'm thinking 38k near-as-dammit is pretty damn good on just two sets of bridgestones RFTs?
(and yes, the second set are JUST legal now.. i think.. )

Think on my 3.0Si the rears lasted some 27 or so 000 miles (a lot of motorway driving). On the M the rears lasted about 15k, had more life left in them but I change as soon as one of the wear bars has worn level.

I'd be interested to know who has the highest-mileage car?

to begin, my 2004 3.0i has 60k on it - any advance on that? :D
