1 lady owner from new...not sure if its seen over 3000 rpm... I think it needs running in! I was worried the mileage was too low! I got it from Sytners with a BMW warranty on Sunday, the lady had just got a delivery for a brand new Z4. I think I might see if I can get that from her in 6 years!

I am a lady driver and not sure mine has been under 3000rpm, been drifting and have loads of fun with it, never sure where people buy these and do not drive them too at least somewhere near their potential! Do not fall for that lady owner sales line  My car is increbibly well washed and polished, serviced and pampered - parked very carefully and driven how it should be - Ok i am not your normal lady driver.

x2
Completely agree and i'm the same.

January 2008 registered.
I bought it at the end of September 2008 with 4000 miles on it.
It now has 15,000 on it so i have done 11,000 in the 13/14 months i've had it.

Registed March '07 , Now on 49K. I've driven every single mile and enjoyed every last one of them. May there be many more

Probably got one of the lowest, had mine from new, it's a Oct 06 MC and it's done 8300miles now.

Stop farting about and drive it man!!! :P

I wonder what the difference in value would on mine and yours? Mine is a Dec 56 plate, me on 33K and you on 8.5K????

Not a big enough gap to warrant not using it (IMO) - it's still going to depreciate. Maybe £1500-£2000? Which would be totally cancelled out by running a second car. If I am going to lose money every day on it I want to enjoy it every day. I bought this one with 900 miles on it, so the first owner had it 10 months, lost £15k. I bought it, booked it in for the running in service (!!!)...31k now.

Obviously it's different if you need a saloon/estate/hatch/care for work etc etc.

May 2009 - under 1300 miles. :? i prefer looking at it to driving it! :D

did 10k in my last M in 8 months, i just want to baby this 1!

mine is a 3rd car used for sunny days, i dont want to drive it daily, its a car for keeping.....

garage queen or not, thats my decision

i've done 23.5k in this one its a Oct 07 car, in my silver one i did 10k by March 08 when i was written off (it was a July 07 car)

April 2007 MC - bought with 18k on and now has 26.5k. Purchased August 2008 so although i thought the millage was a little high when purchased, seems to be levelling out now. In a car school for work now so will prob's only do max 5/6k a year, which will be fun miles.

Allright Jay, how's it going? I do plan to get a bit more use out of it next year, got run the new diff in as well yet.
Don't really know what difference the mileage makes to the price, I guess around £2k - £3k.

Mikedav it's not that I don't want to use it as I'd love to use my z every day, the trouble is that in my line of work a flash car sends out all the wrong signals. If I use the Z it generates to much interest and comments where as my fairly unassuming 330i doesn't raise an eyebrow.

i hate driving lol, think this is because i have probably driven 30K miles a year for the last 25 years

mine is now 6 months old and as 2587 miles on the clock

Definitely a fair point, as I said there are good reasons not to as well! :)

Just meant IMO keeping the miles off / reducing depreciation shouldn't be one of them...like the guy who bought mine new, who was clearly mad

I am fine thanks mate. My car will be sold next year as much as I will be gutted to sell it I have different priorities next year, will need to be ploughing all I can into a house refurbish. :(

Mines is an 06 MR I bought in may from BMW with just under 27,000 miles on it. It's now around 33,000

In that time I've had one o2 sensor fail and a window regulator go pop (covered under warranty) On the plus side BMW supplied it with new tyres, new pads/discs and the inspection 1 service had just been done :driving:
