the majority here seem to be white collar middle management fancy job titled execs , .........exactly BMW's target market ,... very few manual workers (proper jobs )

Definition of a 'proper' manual worker:
If you have to wash your hands BEFORE you go for a piss.

I definitely wash my hands before I go to the toilet ... A mouth can be dirtier than an arse where I work :roll:

Formerly an Analyst in the RAF. Actually just looked at pictures. Specialised in 'Spot the Difference', 'Colour by Numbers' and 'Where's Wally'.
Just about to become a primary school teacher. That one pretty much does what it says on the tin. Although, depending on what year I get, could be a glorified milk maid!

Its a great leveller - Brain Surgeon or Bin Man, now just plain and simple "Retired"

Since I retired six years ago, I have spoken to several old bods who have not come to terms with loosing the status of "Senior, Chief whatever - Now just plain Mr Retired like the fella next to him.

I would swap my job title for 'retired' tomorrow if I could! I know some people struggle to fill the void left by their career when they retire but I reckon I could manage to find plenty to do!

Hmm, I've been retired 18 months now, I never have been concerned about loss of status. Just glad to be not going to work any more.

I've recently been headhunted to do a few hours a week consultancy work, I'm not sure what my new title is as I haven't started yet. 'Consulting Engineer' or something similar I guess.
