I've always found the CDV delay quite bad going 1st to 2nd, but now its getting worse:
going into 1st is a bit notchy
1st to 2nd is ok when accelerating hard (not happened recent due to the rain!!) but otherwise pretty bad - I almost always go straight to 3rd
3rd down to 2nd is now getting notchy
its always worse when i) its cold and ii) the car is also cold. I had the gearbox oil replaced a few months ago, but doesnt seem to have fixed anything
Car is 3.0si 2006 with ~ 75k, 90% of which was sat in 6th gear on the M4, so its had a pretty easy life!
