Do you guys have the equivalent of an R34 in Europe? Out of every car in the world in the car scene in the US the Nissan R34 GTR skyline is hands down the most desired car for basically any car guy that's into imports. Do you guys have a car like this in Europe? :|

The GTR is quite popular over here too.

The alternatives in the same price range are slower, and to reach the same performance you have to spend double on another marque.

The equivalent is the same car. The R34 skyline GTR was sold in the UK and still commands more money second hand than a younger R35 GTR. R34 is a gorgeous car, boot is actually quite shocking space wise, it's adequate but less than previous iterations.

Now you guys can import R32 Skyline GTRs which turned 25 years old last year. Still a great car and pushing already high prices higher but that's good news for us if we want to sell but nad news for buyers in the UK and well the rest of the world that could already import them.

The R34 was the last of the Skyline GTR and the R35 GTR lacks skyline in the name for that reason. Basically it uses GTR but it's a different car. Just like BMW use the ///M Badge and assign it to different models.

I almost bought this one. Silly quick

But this red one is my fav and I tell the owner that frequently. We have offered to buy it when he's ready to sell

Both cars are UK models and not imports.

Is there much difference between one in the UK and one imported from Japan? Like is there a larger demand for imported ones? Over here other than just importing an R34 skyline the fact that its RHD is another reason people seem to love them.

Not really any difference but people would rather have a UK one, only sold as limited numbers and hold their money like nobody's business. Looking at upwards for £50k for one. Imported ones can be had for less and there are more of them but you pay more for insurance on an imported car in the UK and it can be harder to find insurers whilst UK cars are cheaper to insure and can be covered by a lot more companies.

I believe the only officially imported and registered R34 in the US belonged to Paul Walker. He was also a GTROC member who posted. He loved his Skyline GTRs
