Looking to get into an M3 soon and will probably SORN this for a rainy day and keep it (or sunny day). However wondering what people would price this at out of interest if I did decide to sell. Unfortunately someone hit me in the side and did damage to the door so they wrote it off as a CAT S. I’ve since replaced the door and car is exactly as it was before the crash.
Car drives like a dream, exactly as it should, no knocks or clunks. Engine is spot on and car sticks like glue round the corners. It’s been run on liqui moli 5w40 and has Pirelli P zeros on all 4 corners. After the crash I got the wheels refurbed in BBS gold and machine polished it myself as shown in pictures.
2003 e85 3.0i manual
Black sapphire with black interior
127,000 miles
6 owners including myself
Heated seats
FSH and stacks of receipts
I’ve owned it for 6 years
Maintenance work includes DISA valve replaced, VANOS seals done by RBM, roof motor relocated, electric power steering refurbished by ECU testing, expansion tank replaced, front suspension recently replaced.
Bad bits: cat s, oil leak from the sump gasket (currently being fixed as we speak), roof operation is slow requiring a bit of assistance but it’s not got any worse in my 6 years of ownership. The rear subframe has some surface rust but my mechanic told me it’s not worth replacing.
