What will your next car be?

I have 3 kids, all 4 and under and still got the M!

The wife has a Scenic for kiddie transport and no point in me having anything with more than 2 seats as i dont take any of them to school, playschool etc anyway.

I'd certainly look at a 635d convertible seriously, but like every other //M owner has said, it's just too hard to consider selling my Monster. Another 2/3years maybe, if it starts to cost me money out of warranty it might have to go.

I am extending warranty on the X5 as it was cheap to do so, and when the M runs out of warranty, I might extend that as well. Cheaper then the depreciation and with bugger all miles on it - why change ...

Always fancied a GT3 RS but i have a real soft spot for the Maserati GranSport (that's the run out 4200 that's very CSL like and full of carbon fibre). Came inches away from buying one a year ago but talked myself out of the running costs. Just like everyone else, i can't see what would be an imporvement this side of £50K. z4mc rocks!

I also have a soft spot for the old Massers, may well see what a Gransport Spyder can be picked up for in a couple of years..

Or perhaps an AMV8...

See how the career goes!!

Would like a Vauxhall VXR8 6.0i V8 8) :driving:

Did think about these before I drove the M, never got to drive one. Have you driven it?

If I ever need 4 doors a good possibility, but 17 mpg and likely depreciation not good....

I figure it will be just a matter of time.

I have been thinking about getting rid of my Nissan Frontier that I drive to work and buying a Mini Cooper S.

Then trading my M in for a 911S, Convertible of course!!

HEEYYYY!!!!!!

It runs great since then. Just took a real technition to tell my parts changers which ones to change!!

The Mini seems like it would be a good work car.

My next car will be my Z4M with an ess supercharger in it :D

Seriously though, there are not a lot of choices without major capital outlay.
The GTR R35 and Garllado come to mind. If its the GTR, I'll keep the Z :) . Garllado, Z must to :(

I hired a Clubsport R8 (basically the same car) for a couple of days in Oz earlier this year - I was amazed how well it handled for such a big lump, and it obviously goes without saying that it was quite nippy and sounded great! Pity about the mpg like....

2Zero,,,,the MINI is a great car! Had one before I bought the Z, and loved it. Handles extremely well and is a great everyday driver! I only got rid of mine because I wanted more (lots) horsepower

This is a tricky question for me.. I looked and considered so much before buying mine and couldn't find anything for around 20k that could touch the Z4M. The only other cars I *seriously* considered were Mercedes SL, TVR Tuscan, Porsche Boxster S or 911. However, in comparison to the Z4M, the SL is bland and "oldmanish", the Tuscan is nowhere near as reliable, and the Porsche costs around twice as much to get the same level of spec etc (ever noticed that the only 911s you can get for 20k have got naff seats and look boring? and Boxsters are everywhere in comparison).. the only one of these I'd consider in future is the Tuscan as a second car as a purely heart over head thing.

As a replacement though, the only cars that get my heart going are either a 360, Gallardo, or RS8, but with running costs of used examples likely being much higher (with the good buys out of warranty), I'm happy with the M for now! :driving:

I may keep what I've got now and get the new Yamaha V-MAX motorbike. What a bike!! 8)

Trouble is, £15,000 for 2 wheels!! :o

Theres a few on my list but depends if they are in my price bracket at the time and arent to old;

M3 V8
M6
RS4
TTS
370Z
Boxster S
Cayman S
Focus RS mk2
New Z4
335i / d

M3 CSL will be worth a punt when I move on I think... or maybe, just so I've had one (always wanted one just to see), a slightly breathed on 2.7 Biturbo RS4 in silver... stealth uber wagon!
