I got some cheapy non-RFTs on atm. (4 brand new ones came with the car) Will probably be changing to Avons when these wear out.

I went with forum favourite Falken. Excellent for road use and miles better than OEM runflats.

I have to say Vered's have a cool tread pattern though. Has anyone tried both on thier car?

F1 Asymmetric 2 here. Only just fitted. Fifty miles on them but I'm already wondering why I didn't ditch the crappy OEM runflats earlier.

I have about 600 miles on Continental DM non-run flat tires (from Tire Rack). It has transformed the car (a 2006 3.0si) into what I always knew it could be. After the original Bridgestones were worn, I went to RF Michelins. That was a significantly better tire. If that was one notch up in comfort and noise reduction, the new Continentals have to be two or three notches better. I built my own repair kit using Slime products: a bottle of their liquid and a compressor.

Are you sure you don't mean Continental ExtremeContact DW?
It's a really excellent tire and used by a number of individuals in our local club including myself.

on michelin sport pilot rft at the moment but have been investigating this evening on which non rft to replace them with as one of the fronts will need replacing soon so will replace them all, looking at vredestein ultrac or goodyear f1s

Vreds fitted about 2500 miles ago, Much faster in the twisties but in some ways a bit less fun. Really got to provoke it to slide the rear out now!

Driving in the wet no longer feels like Russian roulette when I go round a corner which is a massive plus! I would never go back!

Got some Michelin Pilot Super Sport for my new rims. A little noisy but so far very good.
