Evening all,
Having a bit of think about my career. Since posting in the 'stupid things you have done' thread it has been on my mind. Although I've been thinking about it for a lot longer than that.
Since leaving uni 3 and a half years ago I have pretty much worked in field sales (FMCG at a couple of different companies).
It's not my passion and it's not something I want to do long term. I'm OK at it but I wouldn't say I'm anything special when it come to sales/account management.
Problem is I'm not sure where else I can go with a Marketing degree and only 'commercial' experience. Ideally I would go back to uni but I couldn't afford a big drop in income at the moment.
Has anyone else been in a similar position or changed careers completely? If so, how did you do it?
