What 's the opinion on roof colour?

I like merlot and I think the beige roof and seats really suit it :thumbsup:


I’m very tempted to replace my black roof with a navy blue one to match the navy seats

I think it will be smart over the silver body

Have you considered the car is getting on for 20yrs , looks shabby , a questionable colour scheme , ropey alloys , a 5 speed box & boot carpet that i can smell the damp from Lancs :cry:

(Actually I think the roof goes ok with the burgundy, and it's a sharp price. But I've never seen the joy in a beige interior.)
 
I really like Merlot on Z4s, and don't really like black interiors. So the beige interior works well for me, and the roof goes with that.

How wrong could it possibly go? Those heated M-Sport seats are worth nearly 50% of the price!
 
I think (as above) it’s more likely to be poor presentation stopping the sale with the time of year.
When I had my merlot, i see another for sale with the lighter roof . I think it looks better just because there aren’t so many of them . It’s a nice combination. I did even think of getting mine changed . I still wish I’d kept that car . Absolutely love the Merlot 😍
 
Poor presentation worked for me - i was able to pick it up significantly cheaper than advertised mainly as the seller had got fed up of no shows and chancers. I was there in front of him, willing to pay some money but i wasn’t desperate enough that I ‘had’ to have it so would have walked away.
They can only say no and personally, I am more likely to negotiate with someone face to face than over email etc
 
I think the beige roof goes well with the interior and the Merlot bodywork so it's a thumbs up from me!
I'm half tempted to swap my black hood for a beige hood but I'm concerned about the amount of work involved.
 
Viewing after 6pm weekdays only?? Sounds like they are trying to hide something in the dark hours, I would stay well clear!!
