What MPG for the 03-06 3.0 roadster?

I've just averaged 35mpg over 624 miles up to kingairloch near Fortwilliam and back.

lots of motorway at !!?mph and 40 mile of single track 2nd gear twisty coastal roads with 1hr of stop start traffic round Glasgow.

what a drive and far better fuel economy than I was expecting, I love this engine. :D
 
Disagree with the 'you need to get it looked at comment' everyone drives differently and on different roads. That is why figures differ. If the OP was getting 10mpg I'd say get it looked at but I got anywhere between 22 and 40 on my 2005 e85 and there was nothing wrong with that car. It's how you drive it. 'Running out of revs' suggest high rev driving.. That will chew juice big style.
 
Can't get more than 32.5mpg, haven't ever seen it drop below 29mpg, assuming the computer is not lying.
I assume a hardtop might help a wee bit with economy.
