what is the correct tyre pressure for everyday use?

My car has been pullng to the left more than it should. I checked out the tyre pressure and found that they were all over the place... One at 20psi another at 35... You get my drift.

Anyhoo, the decal just inside the drivers door has been scratched slightly meaning that I can't read what the correct pressure should be for front and back.

Can someone confirm for me please? - just for everyday road use, not track use.

Just double checked the owners manual... It states to refer to the sticker in the car for correct pressures... The exact sticker that I can't read!!! argh!

this is the pic from my pressure sticker on my car, which is a 2006 ///M, it shows tyre pressures to be 2.2 bar which is 31.9 psi front and rear except if and when running mud and snow tyres.............
Im sure if you ask BMW they will order another sticker for you

It doesn't say Z4 M 3.2 but it does shoe the proper tire size: 225/45/R18 and 255/40/R18

Had Inspection I performed yesterday, and BMW adjusted all four tires to 35psi. Note that BMW Techs are not always correct, but that is probably what is in their maintenance manual for the Z4M.

Yes, they set mine to 35psi after the 1200-mile break-in service, and the car was worse than when I had run-flats on my roadster. I'm running at 30psi front and 32psi rear right now. The fronts have to be 30psi for decent ride quality. I'm still fiddling with the rear pressures to see what I like in terms of grip and ride quality.

35 is well over the top, once up to temp, the tyres (tires) could be over 40 psi !

Agreed. Don't forget the exhaust is close to the rear wheels and the heat increases the temp!
