I thought the lights were water temperture, these go out well before the oil temperature comes up. I love the S54 and i have a Caverpoo too :lol:

But back to the original question…
Mine doesn’t go above about centre on a forum run, but then I tend not to drive flat out for 30 mins like I do on track…and anyone who even tries to is a fecking nutter.
On track, in summer, I can see 125-130 on the gauge (which might not be particularly accurate anyway), and once I even got an amber warning temp warning on a particularly hot Ring day in August.
Nothing since then, but I tend to stay away from the Ring at peak summer times as the hotel & ferry prices, combined with the very busy track, makes it not as enjoyable.
I tend to go to drive in March to May, and September to November…and go to watch the N24, VLN/NLS or historic races in between these.

Didnt you have an S54 that knocked its bearings out with low miles?
