What have you done to your E89 today

Car buttoned up..bumper / front camera angle twiddled with..not as much as I'd like but that's all the adjustment I could find, wheels on and torque up..had to reroute one rear BBK line as it was rubbing on the rear wheel, used the old CIC unit as I'd f@£$ed up the GPS feed on my repaired orginal..wasted time with its rogue behaviour..its not been properly coded for my car.

Waiting for a dry day to get a GEO done and test the new springs and de-bug!

Hope your's is going better than mine..about to put the old HDD back in..this CIC unit I bought later is mis behaving
I just plugged it in and nav is greyed out. I'll figure it out and share- this is definitely my wheelhouse. I remember when IDE drives were new.

Great, thank you. Thats the one I have saved in Ebay. It looks good. Did you make an offer or just pay full price? Also did you paint it yourself ? If you did how was it?

Sorry I just read your post properly, your mate did it!. Looks good

I did exactly the same but wasn’t at all happy with the results so took the whole kit and cabooble back to Halfords.

Traditional bucket and shampoo for me from now on!
Snowfoam on its own isn’t great. I spray the car first with a 1/20 mix BiltHamber Surfex HD from a trigger-spray bottle. I then spray the snowfoam on top and let it dwell for about 10 mins. Pressure wash off and the majority of the grime is gone 👍🏻

It’s more effective if you seal the paint.
Use fusso if you like wax, if not, gyeon wet coat.

The right snow foam (touchless) and a surfex HD prewash is all you need for winter maintenance washes if the paint is sealed.

Two ‘new’ cars are sealed with something or other, the Z has a good pre winter coating of Harley Wax.

The cars were clean enough but took ages to get all the suds off, jet washing just moved the suds round the bodywork. Saved no time whatsoever.
