Ah…Yes re-cover of original, it was in terrible shape... Valencia Orange![]()
Just need to clean rest of it...
Perils of living and driving in the countryside on unmade roads..and just using it rather than cleaning it!Just need to clean rest of it...
Another one of those on my ‘not to be done’ list! Not actually today, but fairly recently, I fitted white shrink wrap to the support bars behind the front grills.

I need to do the same myself! How much did they set you back, Peter?Sometimes it seems its best and accept that BMW didn't do a bad job..in this case..car mats!
The original BMW car mats were a little worn and I felt that if I bought 'premium' car mats from one of the big suppliers that would be fine.
Two sets later from two suppliers and I'm not happy!
In both cases the mats slip around on the underlying carpet AND started to curl up at the edges.
So I've thrown in the towel and bought pukka BMW car mats..
These are without the 35is logo, since my 35is is bereft of all its 35is specific parts!
They have nice velcro patches on the reverse which mate up with plastic clips that are positively located into mounts set in the main carpet.
Not very exciting..but its the little things that can get really annoying!
First world problems..

Done them in the shrink wrap for ease of removal if i didn't like it.
Should I fit the stubby, too?![]()

Not yet…part of the reason to change the ride height was to give more room to accommodate significantly taller tyres..Did you ever try the 437m's on the car with the larger tyres fitted to them?
