What have you done to your car today?

Ha! What are the chances? The chap at the cafe has a mind to promote this bit of local history. I'd never heard of it.

We sat outside chatting but every few minutes something went screaming past. On the road to Monyash we were overtaken in quick succession by a McClaren, a Ferrari and an Aston. Obviously all together, driving like twats and taking ridiculous risks.

Any more info on the Porsche gathering? Just 911s or can anyone join in? We met a friend there yesterday who's recently bought a 2018 Macan Turbo with the performance pack and he's in love with it. 440bhp in a small SUV 😂 I'd tell him about it but I know 911 owners can sometimes be a bit sniffy.
Yeah sadly there are a certain few who drive the road like a race track - on 2 wheels and 4. It's definitely got worse since they stuck 50mph average speed cameras all the way down the Via Gellia from the A515 at Newhaven to Matlock; that was always a favourite for bikers as part of the 'loop' around the lower peaks ending up at Matlock for breakfast!

I regularly hear the Supercar brigade nailing it up the 515 from mine at around 08:00 on Sunday mornings in the summertime lol.

As regards the meet - I think it's just a bit of a 'Porsche, but bring whatever you've got that's interesting' situation. I'll be in my Z4MC anyway, so they can get as sniffy as they like about it, I'll bugger off for ice cream at Tagg Lane with my son if it's no fun!

I don't have faceache anymore so can't see the facebook post about it, but there seems to be a bit of info pulled in by google Ai, and an insta post about perhaps a previous meet-up - it looks pretty casual so I'd say we're ok to bring whatever!;
