What have you done to your car today?

Nice idea for lumbar support. Also one of my pet peeves of the E85 seats. I've bought a set of OEM E46 lumbar supports and am in the process of installing them.
The system (including the lumbar bags) is the same as on the L322 Range Rover, if it makes finding the loom and switches easier/cheaper! It's where I got mine from when I fitted this to my E46 years ago

They are indeed the same (and for E83, E53 and more I believe). I think in the UK the L322 ones are priced cheaper, whereas on the continent the BMW ones are better priced. I paid 100 eur for the full set for two seats; bags, pumps, hoses, cables, switches.

Just be aware that the 12v feed plug is different between the manual and electric adjustable seats, but a relatively easy swap. About 5 eur for the plugs if you have the patience to wait for an Ali shipment, and 10 eur on Amazon for next day. And you need a 25 eur crimp tool to attach the plugs.

Sorprendentemente, parece bastante OEM.

I have taken my Zed to France for its holidays and I was tickled by the security at Portsmouth Ferry Docks which insisted on searching under the bonnet, in the cabin and in the boot. I assume that they were searching for illegal immigrants trying to leave the UK because they found that it is actually better to be living in a French camp than in the UK, but goodness knows where security thought a stowaway would be in a Zed full of luggage! :)
I had the exactly the same taking me e86 on the Portsmouth to Bilbao crossing.

Lo limpié esta mañana y me estoy preparando para salir a dar una vuelta con la capota bajada. Estoy satisfecho y orgulloso de este pequeño proyecto; no solo luce genial, sino que el ajuste y la sensación del panel de botones son perfectos.

Upgraded to braided brake hoses all round.

Has firmed up the brake pedal and improved the clutch pedal feel also,
Plus I wont have to worry about them ending up like the originals.

Wipers over the plastic cover aren't a good idea for the wiper blades to last long. And they don't reach the top position now.

The wipers don’t actually touch the trim, windscreen is to curved, I hate seeing them unless they are working. I have only had the car 6 months maybe the wipers are wrong.

Still they don't reach the top position, meaning there will be more unwiped surface on the windshield.

Jacked up my Z4 for the first time, to start sorting out a wheel speed sensor error. (Spoiler alert: 23 year old retaining bolts need penetrating fluid, arriving tomorrow!)

I noticed once lowered that the sill where I just jacked up is slightly separated from the wheel arch liner, on the other side it sits flush. When raising the car I took it slow and steady, proper Z4 oblong saddle, no weird noises etc and maybe it's just been like that for years... or did I just bend my car?! 😧

Had the wheels (well, two of 'em off) and took rear arch liner off to check inside - all good. Cleaned it all up - my OCD is happy.

Bad news is that my M Sport spec car has Monroe budget shockers and the springs look like they've been dredged up from Titanic.

Also had a go at re-conditioning steering wheel - partially successful in that it's better but I was a bit too cautious with the sandpaper so another go is required. Also started the thankless task of getting rid of the sticky shite on the buttons.

Finally, had a go at sorting sightly rusty slam panel (well, the bit around the slam panel cover) - not happy. Suspect I need a new one but that can come later - doesn't look too difficult to fit (he says!)

Mine had the same (on the right hand side). Don't know if it was like that when I bought it or not. Can't seem to 'click' it in again. No biggie, so just leaving it.

Don't think the jacking point is connected to the sill trim piece so can't imagine that jacking it up can do anything.

Added subs behind the seats along with a Pioneer amp to drive them. Already fitted drive units in the doors so a fair improvement over the original 6 speaker set up.
Also removed the rear bumper off of my mates Ferrari so we could replace the rear exhaust silencers. Can’t seem to load pics for some reason.
