What have you done to your car today?

Zed flew through MOT yesterday at Mr Clutch, £35 later, now have set up on-line reminder for next year, you'd have thought this was automated when you buy and register on V5 change of owners, but oh no! Fascinated to see see an advisory on perished petrol filler rubber, cannot see it for the life of me! Newish set of tyres replacing the crash bang bounce runflats. Still looking for a part worn Michelin Pilot Sport 4 255 35 18 if anyone has one to sell to allow me to get this completed ASAP! ?

Added the OEM style (German professional remake with the exact same measurements) carbon lip to the coupe and rebadged the rear:

Every time somebody posts a picture of a black sapphire metalic ZED the damn things are so clean and shiny you can swear they are dented.
Then you see it is something that is reflected. Gorgeous finish, but maddening to photograph.

Mine is easy to shoot, this spring I'm having the entire car professionally buffed out and coated in PPF so haven't washed it since I started the rebuild last fall.

Nice surprise this morning - after spraying lots and lots of lubricant spray on the door lock mechanism, into the handle, into the lock itself and leaving for a day or so, came out and the drivers door handle worked first time!

So hopefully it was just gummed up and not the bowden cable (this time)!

Fingers crossed. Mine was fine most of the time except on warm, sunny days (remember them ?) when the door had got hot and then you could pull the handle up as far as it would go and it would not open for love nor money. I had to wind the window down with the key and reach in to open the door, or park it in the shade

Shamelessly reposting from another thread… finally gotten around to treating a couple of marks on the drivers seat and bolster with some Furniture Clinic cleaner and ‘paint’ repair. Not bad…

Midlands? I'm in southern Ontario, Canada. There use to be a little Canadian flag or something by my name but it seems to have disappeared.
Oops sorry, for some reason I thought you lived in the Midlands, England. :I’ll need to get a brain refresh
