Quick polish of the headlights, only did a quick pass of 3000 grit and then polish. Wasn't sure if it would be enough but they came up well.

New or used module ? If you don't mind me asking how much and where from ? I recently fitted 4 new sensors and it's still only working randomly so must be the module :roll:

yeah, had the same thing.so i replaced all the sensors and the module which were off flee bay second hand £19.99 original BMW and part numbers, new ones over 90 so at that price i can change the module 4 times its only a five-minute job quid's in i hope hope this helps you out

Thanks. Yes, I've had my existing module apart and it looks fine, no dry joints etc so it must be fried. Was just a bit wary of getting a used one and ending up with the same again

Finished rebuilding the centre console after wrapping the trim. I won’t be doing that job again in a hurry but glad to clean it all up at the same time. I’m very happy with the end result.

What a fantastic look! I know from helitaping my daughter's new bicycle (25 yrs old then) despite her initial protestations I hadn't got it exactly right everywhere, it was sooo difficult getting every single bit of air out, but what a result you have achieved! Daughter was graceful and grateful when had time to live with it and consider it, like me needs to digest and process! But hey, I've watched your postings with interest. So what was rhe most frustrating or says 'I won't do that again inba hurry'? Fabulous result

Thanks Scott, I’d say the actual wrapping of trim was fun and addictive when you get to understand the behaviour of the material. The most frustrating part was how complex BMW made removing trim pieces, I think they’ve simplified things these days.
Just get yourself a good clean space with light and a sharpe knife.

After having another un-planned and rapid emptying of the washer tank I did the headlight washer delete... So removed fuse 40 and put a plug on the outlet of the headlight washing pump

I removed Fuse 40 once I got a leaking headlight washer fixed.

Today I fitted my genuine BMW "Buffer Stop with Ejector" that arrived from Park Lane BMW via Ebay this morning.

Changed the outer door handle cable. A fairly straightforward job when you have all the info to hand! I also stuck some sound deadening material on the door skin. Sounds much better, (solid) when you close it!

Took out the wiper mechanism, removed all arms and pivots and gave them a clean and re-grease as they were sqeaking. I'll do a clean of the motor and contacts at some point in the week before reassembly. I took the opportunity to remove the years of junk and leaves that accumulated under the cowl too
