What have you done to your car today?

Finally I’ve been issued my new French carte grise and got my new plates made up.

Are they the right colour? Or just the light?
They are the correct colour. It's the rest of the car that's wrong. :poke: :D

All part of Stuart's cunning plan to sell Jock the rest of the panels too.

Had a morning free so I decided to sort the covering of the central trim with leather I bought a while back

What a faff of a job

But it’s done now and I like it!

Winter is coming and over here people are changing to studded winter tyres now — which generates dust and sludge on the roads. Time to hibernate the zed, sorn today.

Final Clean and dry before the M goes away into winter hibernation.

Fitted the Schmiedmann splitter before it went away, I think it looks ace but christ I dunno. How long it'll last like that, its awfully low!

Roll on spring '23 already!!

Beautiful car.
I installed the freshly restored diff carrier yesterday, a big job for one guy but doable.
11 new rubber bushings and the diff completely overhauled with new bearings, seals and a ratio change from 3.64:1 to 3.91:1

Thanks man, I'd say its definitely a 3ft car though - long as you don't get too close the paint looks pretty decent

Nice work on the diff carrier bushes and fd upgrade, I've got a 4.1 in mine - makes a heap of difference, you'll love it I'm sure! :driving:

Nice, that's my winter project too! I'm very close to going for a 4.44 as it's purely a track car these days, on the fence though, 4.1?

Looking good Ed 8) I'm finally feeling the need for some aero stuff, BGW coming next year I think along with some kind of splitter I guess.
Wondering whether to SORN and lock mine tomorrow too or one last fling to Spa week tuesday
