What have you done to your car today?

Fitted new Matte black kidney grills and used leather conditioner on the steering wheel and seats, smells lovely!

Also ordered new number plates for the front and rear to make the front look more symmetrical without the GB badge. Oh the OCD…..

Polished the headlights on my son’s (now abandoned) car and gave the engine bay a clean. This car has turned into a bit of a winter project for me. I’ll be ready to pass it on soon or maybe enjoy it in the Spring.

Looked to replace the cabin filter. What a right royal pain in the derriere iI found it to be. I needed arms twice as long. Having got to the filter it was pretty clean so decided to leave it for now. 5 min job my arse.

They're 108's that were done at City Wheels in Birmingham with silver rims and black stars - and a few years ago too !https://www.citywheelrefurbishment.co.uk/

Took mine out for a spin on Dartmoor today roof down in the mizzle. Oh how I have missed driving her. Back washed and tucked up in the garage now. :driving: :D

For the first time in years I curbed an alloy this evening, fortunately it’s only minor, but still I’m very sad

I only ever do this if the wheels are new or freshly refurbished, it’s the worst sound

Ouch - I'm not surprised you are sad sars!

You've only just got your G29 and that must be one of those stunning wheels you bought for your winter tyres - I'd be sad too.

[ref]Smartbear[/ref], [ref]Mr Tidy[/ref], there was none of that grating noise, just the clunk as it dropped off the curb, the damage is to one of the spoke ends and not to the actual rim. Just sent an email to Ispiri see if they have touch up paint, fingers crossed :D

It would be great if they did, but even if not you might be able to get something like Hammerite to blend it in.
