What have you done to your car today?

That’s very blue! Different, that’s for sure. Not something I’d do personally but I like it nonetheless!

Also, are those the fabric and leather M-seats? Don’t see those very often!

Yeah fabric/ leather 👍 however I don’t know what quantifies them as M-Sport seats.

I can check in the options check list when it was bought in 2006 😀

Whats the quilted footwell setup Jock? Is it after market? Instead car mats?

Diamond car mats! Chose your colour, great fit and very easy to fit!

The adjustable thigh support at the front of the seat squab is only fitted to M-Sport seats.

New skirts……….. Undecided 🤷‍♂️

[ref]jock156[/ref] kudos for trying something new! Personally I don’t think they suit the sharp yet flowing lines of the Z. It’s as though they float a little in the overall design without tying into anything else aesthetically. But then- that’s just an opinion and I hope you go for whatever you prefer

Took my car for a Birthday drive!

It was first registered 15 years ago today and I'm pretty sure it was a company car for some lucky employee at BMW UK as they did the 1,000 mile service!

So I took it to the former site of BMW UK in Bracknell, although it has been completely redeveloped.

Then on to the current BMW UK site in Farnborough.

Apologies on no pix..but your sally forth to your regional places brought some dear memories for me, in being at the MG Factory Abingdon before the works shut down..had a meeting with one of the foremen there. Pix outside the gate, and more recently with our Z3 and 4 at Spartenburg, SC. Our great rides need these trips back to work a treat. :driving:

Went for a drive to Rotterdam with my trusty friend Fred to meet up with an old school friend. Hoon over B-roads back

Enjoyed that really satisfying torque wrench ‘click’ when fitting my new front struts :tumbleweed: or is it just me

Gratuitous engine shot, not detailed the engine bay yet…

Equal length collectors are installed. Removed catalyst purge system, ECU firmware, rear lambda probe shutdown.

Removing a rusty rear quarter panel is one of the most frustrating jobs I’ve had to do on a Zed yet. Difficult bolts made 10 times harder when seized and stripped.
I still haven’t got the top one out! :headbang: :censored: :censored:
