What have you done to your car today?

After my car's driving side window went ping and getting the window winding repair kit off Ebay and putting it off, I finally stripped the drivers door down but did not unplug the airbag as I had read that sorting the issues arising would be not so good. I found the old cable rusted and wrapped around the drive pulley. The job took all day and drove me nuts but it works fine now. The picture shown has nothing to do with the job just me and the missus enjoying climbing a great Tour De France mountain!

I washed and dried my z4 e 85 which I had put on sorn at the beginning of the month and connected it’s to a battery conditioner .I also put a custom outside car cover to protect it for the rest of the winter.
Stay safe over Christmas.

Starter motor changed- simple enough and a fulfilling strong sound when its starts now, as opposed to the asthmatic turnover it was doing before!

Put the cover on the Z3 and put fuel in the Z4 after a 424 mile trek last week to pick up a hardtop, average for the trip was 40.3 Mpg! Not bad for a 3.0Si!

The hardtop looks great, also a very respectable MPG 👍🏻

Thank you, absolutely loving the Z4, something which I thought would be difficult as the Z3 has so much character. The Z4 does, but is a totally different animal, the 3.0Si engine is just a peach, power everywhere, and if driven sensibly, economical!

Morning All,

Not posted for a while!

The rain is putting me of driving to "spiritedly" went out with my neighbour to pick up his 2017 M140I, it is rapid and sounds nice. A very different tone to the Z4M, and it has that nice exhaust pop / back on lift off.

Not a Zed though...

Took her out after doing a 16 hour two stage polish.

Wish I would have spent another 20 minutes dressing the tyres but hey ho!

16 hours :o :o

Does look mirror like though, well worth it

Cheers mate,

It did take a while but did it over 2 weeks at about 1.5 hours a session on a lunch time.

Really pleased with the results.

Here is a before and after on the rear. It looks great in person.

That's a great job - Ruby Black looks fantastic when it's that clean.

Picked up the final bits for tomorrows dinner, then stupidly gave it some beans on a 200yard section of average speed camera......Doh!

How many beans? You might be lucky and the camera afford you some Christmas cheer

up to 45 - 50 past camera 1, then slammed on down to 20 for the remaining 150 yards of the 200yards. It is a really small section.

The entire road has about 4 sections of cameras. I'm not sure if they avg the entire road of section by section.

My fault for being a Chav for 10 seconds.
