I must say, I rather like it :D It’ll take a bit of getting used too!

The whole Rest thing was a disaster today. Don’t know any details but unfortunately the diversion was closed for most of the day due to a fatal RTC. Then the old military road closed unexpectedly at 7:30 pm due to safety concerns so it didn’t shorten the journey home :headbang:

Aero side skirts?

Almost

I have a set of standard ones to turn into aero side skirts

I will be forming the shape with carbon fibre foam core then skinning it in carbon fibre

So suggestions for the shape......

The GT3 Z4's don't appear to have a side shirt as such

Audi Quattro GP B S1E2 https://images.app.goo.gl/YTTE1dF6xhiCJR2b8
Has an aggressive but old school skirts

Of course you'll be doing the shaping on the car so that the shape of the skirt is held secure?
Also, I think the OEM skirt is nice, but if anything would change, maybe just make it a tad more aggressive?
Also, and only because I have been in the game, when you shape something like this (a ridge) on a car, the stylists/designers create what's called 'tension' which looks like a very subtle bone line, or a rib/spar coming through a tent. Otherwise the shape looks 'flat'.

Finally got the in-car telephone bluetooth working, hurrah!

Not quite sure how, certainly not following the BMW instructions but after much pressing and releasing of the BT button and key turning it paired. :D

Well done! I gave up on mine and bought a Bluetooth dongle thing instead (still to fit it though! )

Fitted new 276’s with MPSS4’s, fitted SmartTop, changed the salmon relays and washed it

I thought that was one of those things when the OH goes to the hairdresser. Says it’s fine, pays the bill then gets home and redoes it all again because they don’t like it

I tried numerous times before and couldn't pair it. Think I just lucked out today. Wish I could say exactly how long I held the button for and what position the key was in.

Got the telephone bluetooth working but had less luck with a bluetooth dongle I bought to connect to the glovebox ipod comnection to play music via my phone. Slowly getting there though!

I treated her to her first new battery and a wash today. RAC man recconed the original was still working perfectly. Changed anyway. Hoping my intermittent alarm going of for no reason has gone with it. Time will tell.
