What have you done to your car today?

Took it to the garden centre because I could - not the nearest one though.

Well a run down to Plymouth for a social distance meet and calliper and hub refresh which I suppose is exercise.
Big thanks to my mate.McButler.F7A9B06C-3073-4DC0-B8DF-317780CF1D5F.jpeg

New boots today. Michelin PS4's all round on my 18" Zito 935's for the E89. Took advantage of a Costco offer before it ends.

Pollen filter changed, air filter cleaned, sparks plugs replaced and throttle body butterfly cleaned. Now just need to take it to my mechanics on Tuesday so he can stick up on the ramp to change the oil!

Spent all morning polishing her only for it to go and rain an hour after I finished :headbang: new tires going on next Saturday, finally ditching the run flats and hope it makes a difference!IMG_20200523_110248.jpg

Did similar only to have half the sahara dumped on it by the rain :x sometimes wonder why I bother. :?

Originally wrapped these steering wheel controls, but it didn't work too well so had a go at spraying them yesterday.

Pretty good results but think the finish is a little too matte.

SO frustrating isn't it!! Decided I'm going to clay bar all of it anyway (not been done in a year!) So not the end of the world I guess

Finally installed my refurbed steering wheel. The cover was one off AliExpress. Not a bad kit at all. :)

LED bulb upgrade, H7s right gassed to fit but worth it.

They look good :)
What brand/LED did you fit? Do you get issues with bulb check lights? On the dash?

Nighteye H7 and fog lights, cheap on eBay but are rebranded Novsight so pretty good with some led side lights.

Yes bulb errors but will code out via Carly.

Need to remove headlights to fit and need modified bulb holders but worth the hassle in the end 👍

You got a pic of the modified bulb holders? The OE ones, modified? Or you had to buy new ones?

Finished RTABs at last. Christ they needed some torque to get them out! Along with the uprated ARB I’m excited to get the car re-aligned and stick Some miles on it!

Oh, and aligned the new bonnet

Cheers

Needs a full paint correction and some touch ups around the edges (from storage I’d guess). But overall very pleased.
