What have you done to your car today?

Replaced my windscreen scuttle panel with one I bought off someone breaking a car last year. My original one was slightly warped but the new/second hand one fits a treat.
I was amazed how much crap was collected underneath when I took my one off.055658FE-D778-4B50-B52A-C05A2E0EFCA1.jpeg3FDD5134-948A-4B28-BB05-D283034748F6.jpeg284BE619-E814-4D9D-81BA-739E447E39DD.jpeg4BEBD63D-4976-4A67-9720-356D7734B287.jpeg

OOPS, the pics appeared wrong way round ☺️☺️

Full Vanos service - difference is awesome :driving:

If not already done, I would seriously consider this .......

Good to hear  . Haven't really heard this mentioned with regards to the E89's, anyone know if it needs doing?

I thought it ceased to be a problem after the facelift e85 when the piston seals were improved, not heard of an e89 needing it done.

Check his sig guys, its an 04 E85 3.0

Tightened the front diff bolt up as the diff was making a noise that I did not like or want.

Front diff? 4 wheel drive Zed? Interesting . They don't do an X Drive Z4 do they

Only 3 bolts, 2 at the back and 1 right hand side front of the diff, this one was loose.

umm yes, that's why I specifically asked if vanos service was still a thing for the E89, as Mike123 had just done his E85 but I hadn't heard of it being a needed job on the E89's. Rob kindly answered with the info that it was fixed from the facelift E85's onwards.
Sorry if this wasn't clear to you

Absolutely agree. I did mine 2 weeks ago and it's bedding in nicely. As you say it's an incredible difference. The best thing I've ever done on my Zed and £140 for the X8R kit is money well spent. Don't know why I kept putting it off, not half as bad a job as I was expecting. Wish I'd done it 5 years ago when I bought the car !

LED bulb upgrade, H7s right gassed to fit but worth it.

They look good :)
What brand/LED did you fit? Do you get issues with bulb check lights? On the dash?

Nighteye H7 and fog lights, cheap on eBay but are rebranded Novsight so pretty good with some led side lights.

Yes bulb errors but will code out via Carly.

Need to remove headlights to fit and need modified bulb holders but worth the hassle in the end 👍
