What have you done to your car today?

I'd like that kinda support but.........don't know if I could go to that extreme :poke:

If that extreme gives me an easier life I’m all for it. Just might be me driving it less than I expected!!!

No no, you're right, happy wife happy life

Drove the 4 year old daughter home from nursery with the top down for the first time and she giggled and laughed all the way. She’s claimed the ‘Zid’ as mine and hers and the XC60 is her Mams and the other daughters.

Not done anything to the car...but will be using these when I'm driving it next. Not to everyone's taste I'm sure, but they were in the sale and I never know what footwear to wear when I'm going for a proper drive for a few hours.20200213_163151.jpg20200213_163201.jpg

The car is getting its major detail over the next few weeks which includes a bumper respray and refurbed alloys - which I dropped off yesterday. It's amazing what you can get into a little 1 series coupe! Pics of that coming soon!

Organised my Garage a bit today having taken delivery of a Tyre Rack to store two sets of wheels I have for the Z3 and Z4, cheapish ebay item from Germany £32.89. Its pressed steel and clips together, needs an extra vertical support putting on it to cope with the weight of the Z wheels, will be adding a timber vertical support front and rear to support the horizontal rails in the centre. For the money it is ok for the job and fitted the gap I have after removing an old flat pack wardrobe I had in its place.

Hi Dan. I'd be very interested to know what the Puma driving shoes are like. I've been toying with the idea of getting a pair of the all black ones (Cat 7 ?) to replace my very old and tatty OMP shoes. Always wear them if I'm driving for more than an hour or so. The tread on the soles is starting to wear a bit thin now but they're so light and comfy  20200214_194310.jpg

These are the Cat 7 Si. I've never had a pair of shoes designed for driving, but all these epic Welsh drives are giving me some pain from all the heal toe action so thought I would give them a shot. I'll let you know how I get on with them mate.

Bought it a nice new Carbon Fiber Spoiler. The Z got nothing this time :(

Whilst the wheels are in for a refurb I gave the arches a flush and cleaned up the brake discs.

I also polished my nuts... :D

I'm getting a bit excited at the idea of my Z becoming the second, fun car rather than a daily. Feel like it'll make me appreciate it all the more when I do drive it, even if I am getting a daily that'll give it a good run for it's money pace wise!

Bumper in for a respray so was going to add a coat of paint to the front strut brace (think that's what it is). Took it off and the paint just started pealing off! Thinking I might go another colour than black, but not sure. Anyone else done something different?

POR 15 in black works well or if you can get it Plastikote black is the stuff I did mine in. Both need a slight course finish to get a good hold onto the alloy bar

Spoiler is for my Coupe, made in thailand (I believe that is where the OEM stuff is made too) the weave is the same as the OEM bits I have.
